This weekend was great one of the best since the workshop. And for a none kungfu weekend the best in a long time. As in I cant remember a better one.

Thursday night around 7:50 we all got in our cars and head out to the beach after a slight detour by Wills house to get chairs. Back on the road agian I think it was alittle bit in to the trip we found out that Adam left his walet at home. Not a problem though he was covered. We stop at a Arbys for Dinner that night. It was my first time to eat there and it was not to bad at all. Later on we got to the Beach around 1 am I think. We headed on over to Walmart to see if my anychance they sold Surf board. The didnt but Will did by a cool Dragon Skim Board. The line at Walmart was crazy! Everyone on the island I think was there. After leaving Walmart we hoped on the fairy to Christal Beach were we could camp for the night. Took around 40 min or so to put the tent up. Then it was time for some R &R.

Firday We woke up nice and early and got alittle morning skim boarding in. We all sucked pretty bad but it just mad it more fun. After everyone got ready we head over to Galveston for breakfast at IHOP. After get a good full meal we were ready to start searching for surf boards. We tried Acadmey but no luck once agian. So we broke down and went to Under Ground Surf Shop where we were able to get some boards. We went across the road and started trying to surf, I got but I think two times there maybe three. No one was having any real luck the waves were pretty small there. So we loaded up the boards and went down to the Flagship. However there was only enough room for two people so Will and I ended up running to the Flagship. With all the traffic that was there we probably almost made better time. The waves were much better there. After we had our fill for the day Adam and Will took the boards on back. While Stacy and I stayed on the beach and walked through some stores. We all ate lunch at Fish Tails, they had an awesome soup and they had Blue Bell ice cream. *yummy* After going to Walmart agian and getting some snacks/dinner we head back over to camp only to find the tent and my car were still there. *yahoo* After getting in alittle more skim boarding it start to rain so Will and I got some soap and started soaping up it felt great to be in some what clean water since I had not showered in quite some time. With in about 5 minutes all hell broke loose the tent was leaking. So we all formed a team and got the crap out and the tent down and started heading on out to Houston. Adam and Stacy left and went home. Will and I went Houston got Boba and some dinner at Cong Ly and a room at Motel 6.

Saturday After and awesome night a sleep we went got got Dim Sum, and Boba. We went to Astro World and got in on a coke can that Will found right outside the gate for Buy one get one Free. The park was empty pretty much we really did not have to wait in line for anything. We just made a circle around the park riding everything we saw that looked cool. After about 5 hours we left and headed for Chinatown. Will got some cool weapons and I got a flute and a few jade pieces. Once agian we were hungry go figer. We we went to a Asian place were I dont think the lady like us. And on for more Boba. After getting some what off track we found Motel 6, this time not the the best part of town. The hotel was so ghetto the sink would not drain, the potty cover was not on, and there was hair in the shower that was not mine. Over all great night of sleep and best off all my car was still there in the morning and so was everything we left in it.

Sunday
After sleeping in agian we went and ate at this place for got the name. It had a really bad smell, now that I think about it I kinda liked it in a weird way. We went a few more stores looking a videos and Dvds. Got more boba and hit the road. The ride home was good, did not feel long at all. Although the traffic was insane going about 5 MPH on the 45. After driving maybe 30 miles which took about and hour we stoped at the Sam Houston Statue for a po po break and pictures. I got home today around 8 I stop by the town bar to say hi to my Mom. So now I am about to buy Pushing Hands on Ebay. Its pretty much the Story of Sifu Chungs life. Its being shiped from Kowloon so I am sure it will be a few days.
